Offering a comfortable seat and easy-to-use driver controls, these R-series trucks are designed for intensive work such as supplying production lines and cross-docking. Intended to meet the most demanding of applications, our R-series electric tow tractors are fitted with powerful, energy efficient AC motors, whilst the IC engine powered models are equipped with durable Toyota engines for maximum efficiency.
Ideal for horizontal transport over long distances, the three rider-seated electric towing tractor models in the 4CBT range of the Toyota Tracto R-series offer towing capacities from 2 to 4 tonnes. Ergonomically designed to maximise driver comfort, these compact models offer easy entry and exit and car-like controls. Pneumatic tyres improve truck stability for indoor and outdoor applications and a rounded rear chassis provides better load visibility.

With a car-like pedal layout and easy-to-use controls, our CBT rider-seated towing tractors are designed to maximise comfort and productivity during demanding operations. Featuring energy-efficient AC motors, the tow tractors in this range require little maintenance, and offer smooth acceleration and outstanding durability and power.

The 2TD and 2TG engine powered towing tractors in the Toyota Tracto R-series range are capable of meeting the most demanding requirements, offering high travel speeds, heavy towing capacities and superior operator comfort. Suitable for travel over great distances, these rider-seated trucks are available with automatic or manual transmissions and are ideal for use in factories and airports. Both our diesel-powered 2TD models and the petrol powered 2TG models are easy to operate, with car-like pedals and controls. The towing capacities in the engine powered R-series range from 26 to 49 tonnes.
